Our Story

Our journey began with a simple goal: to create a high-quality timber cabin that could function as a spare room and home office—built to last and practical for real Australian conditions.

After months of searching, we were disappointed by what we found. Many cabins looked great in photos, but up close they fell short in quality, durability, and design. Living on a property susceptible to termites and flooding, we knew we needed timber with serious protection—not shortcuts. Unlike other sellers, all timber in our cabin kits is ACQ treated to an H4 standard, ensuring long-term resistance to pests and moisture.

We also needed double-glazed doors and windows for insulation, security, and soundproofing—essential for a comfortable and functional office space. Unfortunately, nothing on the market ticked all the boxes at a price that felt fair.

So, we decided to build our own.

The result exceeded every expectation. The quality, comfort, and craftsmanship of our cabin were so impressive that we felt compelled to share it with others—without the inflated price tag. And that’s how My Cozy Cabins was born.

Since then, we’ve had the privilege of helping customers across Southeast Queensland, New South Wales, and now Victoria create cabins they truly love. From cozy retreats and home offices to extra living space for growing families, our cabins are thoughtfully designed and built to stand the test of time.
